'Cause I'm So Darn Crafty

I'm not really a detail person, and I'm sure I've made a ton of errors in every story and book I've written. But I'll guarantee you I'll never make a mistake on the sewing stuff. Breathe easy, potential readers - it's all been fact-checked right here in the Littlefield Home Test Kitchens.

Meanwhile, here's the dress I made for my daughter's eighth grade graduation.

omg!!! sophie that is adorable - love the color, LOVE the waist detailing, adore the skirt flare and ruffling - and the little V neck with that touch of material coming up - I had no idea you could do these things!

hee hee hee - - i'm thinking gold lame for the edgars....in 1991 i actually sewed a bride into her gold lame wedding gown in the ladies parlour a few minutes before the ceremony because it wouldn't stay up. are you trying to picture that darn gown? well, add in, to your mental picture, 30 yards of gold tulle crumpled into a pouf on the top of her head. What can I say...the 80s were still a recent memory...

It is rather interesting for me to read this post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to this matter. I would like to read more soon.
